Its Been Awhile

Wow, Its been a long time since I last posted anything. Sorry guys! I'm not really sure where to start. I guess for those that I haven't talked to in awhile, Cambry broke her arm in February. She was at the babysitter's and was just playin and fell. And when she landed it broke her arm. She had to have a cast on for three weeks. That whole ordeal was a struggle. First the doctor at the Urgent Care didn't really know what do to with her. So he just gave us a sling and said to wait until Wednesday, when Primary Childrens has their fracture clinic. That was on a thursday. So I callled Primary Childrens to find out what we are supposed to do with her arm until then. They told me that as long as it was splinted she would be fine. Well it wasn't and the girl couldn't understand that for some reason. So I called back to the urgent care the next day and told them that her was not splinted and I couldn't get her into Primary's until Wednesday. The doctor was furious that the other doctor hadn't done anything. So we got it splinted and then took her to Primary's on that wednesday. She got a purple cast on that went from her fingers to her elbow. We had to wrap her arm up in a plastic bag for baths, and she had to learn to do things one handed. But she did very well. She never once threw a fit about the cast. And she did so well when she had it cut off. Now her arm is completely healed. I'm so glad that whole thing is over!

Cambry will be turning two in June! I can't believe she is that old. Time goes by so fast. She still only wieghs 20lbs. But she is very healthy, and happy. Although she is getting into the terrible twos and throwing tantrums over every little thing. She used to be the sweetest little girl, and now she can be the biggest brat over the smallest things. But when she isn't throwing fits she is the cutest little girl. And I don't think that just because she my daughter! She really is just so freakin adorable! She can say all kinds of words now. And she has started to string two or three words together. She learns new words every day. She still loves to read. And she loves her babies! We are slowing working on potty training. She can now tell me right away when she has gone potty in her diaper. So the next step is to teach her to be able to tell before she needs to go. One thing we have a problem with is that she can sit on the potty long enough to actually go. She will be on and off the potty for like two minutes then when we get the diaper back on, she goes. So its a slow progress. But hopefully we will be almost there, if not complete, by her birthday. I would like to have a break from buying diapers for a little while.

Jake and I are doing good. Jake is still working at Ace Disposal on the graveyard shift. He just got a his shift differential raise for working the graveyard shift. I am still working at the Redwood Veterinary Hospital. I still enjoy working there with all the animals. Jake and I will be celebrating five years of being together this Easter. So to celebrate we are going for a night to Wendover. We will be staying in the mini suite in Montego Bay. This will be both of our's first time at a casino to gamble! Of course we don't really have a lot of money, but I think it will be fun to be able to experience it. I am so excited!

We will be getting a another dog this month. Jake's cousin has to get rid of his dog, so Jake and I are going to take it. The dog is a Bull Mastiff, and his name is Max. We have been thinking about getting another dog for our current dog, LIzzy. And Jake has been wanting a large dog. So this dog would be good for us. I wanted one that was an adult, and good with kids and people. I'm kinda scared but excited to get such a large dog. I hope everything goes well with him.

Jake has been thinking about starting up his own business in foreclosure home cleanout. He is just so tired of working for someone else. And its actually a pretty good market for that right now. And it would be great if he could make enough money doing that, that I could just be a stay at home mom. Then I could have a bit more time to do Mary Kay and hopefully make some money doing that.
